WE CAN'T WAIT FOR APRIL 10!

When & Where

This year’s program is scheduled for Friday, April 10, 2020.
All interviews and portfolio reviews will be conducted online through Google Meet/Hangouts. This format gives all professionals in the design community, regardless of physical location, an opportunity to participate in the event and provide feedback to our graduating students, which is a crucial step in their continued professional development. We would love to have a variety of professionals take part in this event, and we can't thank you enough for your continued commitment to ensuring that our students are well-prepared when they enter the workforce. Your time and consideration are much appreciated!

Time Slots

You will meet with five students via video conference during your timeslot. You will have 20-25 minutes with each student; prior to your interviews, you will receive an email invitation from each student with a video conference URL and a link to an online assessment/evaluation. A copy of this assessment will be provided to the student after it has been reviewed by Career Services.

There are three available time slots, all Eastern time.

  • Timeslot A/Morning: 8:15-11:15 a.m.
  • Timeslot B/Early Afternoon: 11:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.
  • Timeslot C/Late Afternoon: 2:15 p.m.-5 p.m.

Please choose the time slot that works best for you. If you cannot be present for an entire time slot, that's OK! We have a place for you to indicate what time you are available.

About The Modern

For more than 30 years, The Modern has been offering students a special college experience with small class sizes, involved student support, and expert faculty. Located in Kettering, Ohio, we’ve been named a Top Design School by Graphic Design USA (GDUSA) for eight consecutive years because of our highly talented award-winning students and faculty.

The Modern’s mission is to educate, develop, and prepare students for successful careers in design. At The Modern, we offer one major — design — with two program options to choose from: an Associate’s Degree and a Bachelor’s Degree Completion program. Students at The Modern learn to develop their ideas through research, brainstorming, sketching, and creative problem-solving. Our program offers courses in graphic design, web design, UI/UX, illustration, photography, video, and motion design.
The Modern College of Design is accredited by the ACCSC and registered with the State Board of Career Colleges and Schools [Registration #2028]. Financial aid is available to those who qualify.
